Though the some 20 clients who filed into Hyatt’s Hair Studio in San Carlos Monday morning may have left with new hair styles or a clean shave, they also came away with something many of them hadn’t had in a long time: a little pampering. For several hours Monday, Jill Hyatt and Sherry Mays shut down regular operations at the salon they own at 1349 Laurel St. to welcome residents from Hope House, a homeless shelter in Redwood City, to breakfast, free hair services and a day of self care.
